I am her second owner - purchased her used from a south florida ford dealer in 1996. There comes a point when it's time to let go, and her clutch went for the second time since 2005. I don't have the time or money to put the work into her anymore. Accident reported by autochek was my elderly neighbor taking out the back rear light assembly which was replaced. 3. Garaged for a few years in florida and maine and driven up and down the eastern seaboard for college students for 5 years. 4. Battery a year old5. Timing belt replaced 1,000 miles ago6. Always towed on a flat bed 7. At about 18,000 miles was converted to synthetic/semi-synthetic engine oil 8. Body was in near perfect condition until it was either hit a skateboarder or a pole in a parking garage about six years ago. Still questioning my choice... 9. Anti-lock brake system does not work but pumping the brakes does. 10. Hand brake is bent. 11. Needs a new clutch - second one since 2005. 12. I refute the autochek statement about the odometer being altered! I seriously doubt both institutions would be involved in odometer tampering. I include the carfax in the photos to refute that statement. Rubber/seals replaced4. License plate lights5. Windshield has had bb gun hole for 21 years and never cracked! 7. Fabric inside cab roof is shot! 8. Tires are not the best - did not purchase the firestone custom tires made for this ranger last time and have regretted that since! Vehicle as is no warranty2. Owners manuals (water damaged - see pic), warranty card and fuse locator box with various fuses and bulbs4. Three wheel chrome center hub caps (after market) dog not included! Red 4x4 ford ranger splash edition, the splash edition was the loaded version of the ranger, with power windows and locks it came in at 1,800 more than an f-150 of the same year. This is a great truck, used as a daily driver from the original owner at 145k and purchased by me a little over 8 years ago for small trips to home depot, now that my projects are done and i am moving to florida due to forced retirement... I must depart and face the road in my 2014 escape. Everything works on the truck, has factory radio, with factory cd disk changer behind jump seat in the rear of the cab. Still in semi showroom condition with clean carpets and clean and no rips in the cloth interior. And the cruise and 4x4 works along with every thing on the truck. The winch i got from a friend, never used it, but i thought the truck looked good with it on... It does work with a wireless remote i keep in the center console. Clutch was done about 2000 miles ago still very strong, along with oil changes every 3000 miles or 6 months which ever came first... I do not put a lot of miles on a vehicle so thats my schedule.
